Branded with the name of the city USUKI, it is strictly blended only with locally grown Wakamizu rice and water. Its rich texture and distinctive acid flavour reflects the warmer climate in Kyushu region which is refreshing for stir fried dishes and grilled fishes. It needs to be chilled below 5c at all times.
USUKI is designated as UNESCO creative city network for its local food culture of using Miso paste and sake brewing. It is a genuine local culture experience!
We use chilled packs to preserve temperature as much as possible for delivery.

About Kuge Honten
Kuge Honten is established next Suehiro River originates from the eastern mountain range of Oita. The family commenced the brewery business back in mid-16th century, and the present organization can be traced back to 1860. Kuge Honten is dedicated to utilize local produce like using lemon or citrus fruit for liquor, and Wakamizu rice for sake brewing.
