Southern Kyushu is famous for Rice Shochu (distilled rice wine) and this is the one of the best! It presents a mild attack taste, elegant and easy to drink. Water from Kumagawa River along the mountainous Kumamoto is used. Suitable to taste it straight up, on the rock, mix with water or soda water with ice. It can pair to foods which uses spices to give rich tastes. Awarded with credit by Kumamoto tax bureau in inter-prefectural contest.

About Joraku Shuzo
Joraku Shuzo situates in Hitoyoshi City of Kumamoto Prefecture. It is famous for the Kumagawa river which brings the mountain water from the Aso mountain. Aso's volcanic landscape brings fertile soil and with a relatively mild weather, the region is rich in wheat and fruit produce.
The lineup brings a distinctive delicacies from Southern Japan which emphasizes rich in sweetness and variation in flavour.
